Apple redesigns its Messages App to have comparable features to Snapchat. Actually, Apple hopes that loyal Snapchat users will become fans and users of the resigned Messages app. Several enhancements are added to the Messages app to improve and make texting more fun.
Quicker Way to Use Emojis
Messages automatically highlights words that you can switch for Emojis. This reduces the searching time for Emojis. You do not waste time looking for an Emoji for a word that does not have a corresponding Emoji. Apple makes the Emojis three times larger. There is no need to use the magnifying glass.
Digital Handwritten Notes
Some people are concerned that the art of handwriting is disappearing. They feel that it is possible for a generation to complete school and not be able to sign a form or personally write a proper thank-you note. Handwritten notes express feelings in a deeper context than a text or email. Apple hears your concerns and responds. The Messages app brings technology and personal expressions together with the Digital Touch feature. You write your handwritten note in your own handwriting on your device. You are able to attach Emojis, photos and videos. These features make your texts or emails extra special.
This is like having your own personal assistant. When you make plans or appointments over Messages, the app gathers the information such as time and location. It automatically gathers the information and allows you to easily add it to your calendar. This is a semi-automated process that makes scheduling much easier and faster.
It is not truly invisible, but it is a fun feature that does have some spy like qualities. When you use this feature, your message or photo appears as a blurry image. Others are not able to view the contents. When you want to view this mysterious message, you swipe the message bubble until it becomes visible. This seems a little magical to me.
How many times have you received multiple texts asking “where are you” when you are planning to meet friends or family. It is tricky to tell someone where you are if you are meeting at the beach or at a large venue. You may use pins to show your location. Apple’s Messages app makes this even easier. Messages uses the same function as its own Map app. The Messages app makes it even more easier. The app recognizes the phrase, “where are you” and suggests sending your location as an automated response. It is sometimes frustrating to try to describe your location. Now, there is no more concern or worry.
Apple’s new features on its Messages app provides fun and enjoyable features. Also, it makes texting more interactive and interesting.
